MIDI Fuses & Holders

MIDI fuses—also known as strip or bolt-down fuses—are specifically designed for moderate to high-current circuits, typically used between batteries and major electrical components. They provide fast and reliable protection against overloads and short circuits, helping to prevent cable damage, overheating and potential system failure. Correct fuse selection is a critical part of any camper van electrical setup, ensuring both safety and long-term reliability.

The Wired Campers range includes a variety of MIDI fuse ratings, commonly from around 30A up to 200A, allowing you to match the correct fuse to your system requirements. These are ideal for protecting circuits such as DC-DC chargers, solar charge controllers, fuse boxes and smaller inverters, making them a versatile choice for most camper van builds.

MIDI fuse holders are designed with bolt-down connections, providing secure and low-resistance contact points for high-current circuits. Their compact size makes them easy to install in tight spaces, while still offering robust performance in demanding environments such as camper vans and motorhomes.

For more advanced installations, combination fuse holders and distribution boxes are available, allowing you to centralise multiple circuits into a single, organised unit. These systems help reduce wiring clutter and improve accessibility, especially in larger off-grid camper van setups with multiple power sources and loads.
