Thetford Porta Potti 145 Portable Camping / Camper Van Toilet

The Thetford Porta Potti 145 is a compact, lightweight and practical portable toilet, ideal for camper vans, caravans, camping, boats and other situations where a permanently installed toilet is not available.

Compact Design for Camper Vans

With dimensions of just 330 x 383 x 427mm, the Porta Potti 145 is compact enough to fit neatly into many camper van layouts while still providing a comfortable and practical toilet solution.

Its 324mm seat height keeps the overall size relatively low, making it particularly useful where storage space or installation height is limited.

Simple and Reliable Bellows Flush

The Porta Potti 145 uses Thetford’s proven bellows pump flushing system.

Simply operate the manual pump to flush fresh water around the bowl. Because the system is entirely manual, there are no batteries, electrical connections or complicated components required, making it ideal for simple camper van and camping setups.

12 Litre Waste Holding Tank

The lower section of the toilet incorporates a generous 12 litre waste-holding tank, providing useful capacity while helping to keep the overall toilet compact and easy to transport.

When the tank needs emptying, the lower section separates from the fresh-water tank so it can be carried independently to an appropriate disposal point.

15 Litre Fresh Water Tank

The upper section contains a 15 litre fresh-water flushing tank, allowing the toilet to be used completely independently from the vehicle's water system.

Simply fill the tank before travelling and the Porta Potti is ready to use.

Lightweight and Portable

At approximately 3.6kg empty, the Porta Potti 145 is easy to move, remove and store when required.

This makes it particularly suited to camper conversions where the toilet may be stored beneath a seat, inside a cupboard or in another dedicated storage area when it isn't being used.

Completely Self-Contained

One of the biggest advantages of the Porta Potti range is its simplicity.

There is no requirement for permanent plumbing, drainage or electrical installation. The toilet consists of a fresh-water flushing tank on top and a separate waste-holding tank underneath, making it a simple self-contained solution for recreational vehicles and camping.
